Stephen and his team worked on a standard 30yr fixed for a home purchase. They were able to complete the process for a 30 day close with time to spare. Stephen was quick and responsive to questions and concerns and he was easy to reach by phone and email. I would not hesitate to use Guaranteed Rate and Stephen for future mortgage needs. He also recommended a good local real estate attorney.
I have to say that Stephen was great from the outset! He was professional, punctual and made the entire experience of qualifying for a home loan painless. I refinanced because my work offered a special, subsidized rate. However, I did not get cut rate service from Stephen and his team. They were constantly on the ball and were a consistent help as I navigated what has become a truly byzantine process. Although they have managed to automate as much of the process as possible and created a very user-friendly web portal, I still do not think I could have made it without the many personal touches.
