So they have raised more In rent but haven’t fixed the paint job, haven’t fixed my counter pony, haven’t fixed my washer and dryer, and haven’t fixed the the drawers. If we are being honest they slapped wood on the original drawers and said it was new but the drawers ended up falling apart . Our handles are uneven on the cabinets. Also the still haven’t opened up the pool!!!
Unfortunately I live in Canterbury Apartments in Myrtle Beach; could write a book about the mistreatment and lack of concern from staff. Read the below and know that they won’t work with you at all and this could happen to you if you move into one of their buildings (the funny part is I’m in the middle of moving and the apartment will be empty in 2 weeks but they refuse to work with me at all).
I went by the office and spoke to the propriety manager on the phone today and it was one of the most inconsiderate and poorly handled situations I have gone through. I voiced my concerns/inconveniences about a renovation date - it will cost me money, I have a dog I’m being told to make other arrangements with even though I work full time, my belongings will be out in the open, I live alone and don’t feel safe with the arrangement, I’m having to move all of my kitchen items and other items throughout the apartment away from ... read more

apartment's or not sound prof you can hear your neighbors walking ,talking, vacuum and everything else.. we have some people who don't pick up after there dog .

Horrible service. Roaches in the apartments. Leasing staff are a bunch of do-nothing fools. It claims to be a smoke-free community but now all my belongings smell like cigarette smoke because my neighbors smoke on their patios. There was a shooting at the pool where at least one person was shot. They have had continual problems with the pool, and when brought up with the staff they just say to contact the courtesy officer. Upsides: beautiful grounds. Apartment, while worn, is absolutely gorgeous. Location couldn’t be better. Pool is awesome, salt water and well maintained- quietest times are early in the day during the week. Maintenance guys are very friendly and responsive; I feel very safe with them inside my place. Office staff is very friendly. No critters (bugs)! Car wash station is a big plus. Very dog friendly! Downsides: the gates never work, ever. They are always stuck open. I have been here since this place opened in 2014. We have had some super heros in the management teams. But the current management staff as of September 2021 is very difficult and condescending to work with, not to mention disrespectful. I’m a 74 year old grandmother who had to downsize in 2014. Never lived in an apartment and was fortunate to find a wonderful lady who at the time was managing the lease-up of the newest completed apartment complex in this area.
