The staff was very nice and made me feel comfortable. However, I felt very uncomfortable with the Vet, Dr. Bollier. He did nothing for my animal. It seemed like he was lackadaisical and uninterested in really finding out what was wrong. Because he knew that I was on disability income, I felt I was treated like I was less of a person and like my pet's health wasn't of as much value. I was so dissatisfied with my visit and feel like I wasted a good $100+. I was charged an $80 urgent care fee which was $20 over their normal... read more

All I wanted to do was buy cat dewormer. I was told that the cats had to be seen by a vet before I could purchase the dewormer. I don't know of any other domesticated animal that needs an prescription to get rid of tape worms. I tried to email the hospital directly using their website link but that wouldn't work, so I had to resort to posting this on the internet

Business response:

Denise, we are truly sorry to hear you had a negative experience with us and appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback. Unfortunately, we do not carry over the counter deworming products. Patients must be examined by a veterinarian before medication can be prescribed. Again, we apologize we were unable to meet your needs when you dropped by for a deworming product.

We were charged a little over 500 dollars just for them to not give us an answer about what exactly was wrong with our pup. We then were able to diagnose him ourselves and then had to go back in to pay for another visit. Our pup was constipated and the vet took an X-RAY and an ultrasound and didn't see any signs of constipation which is beyond me. You most definitely can see this issue using these technologies. Not sure if it was just a new vet who didn't have a ton of experience or what but unfortunately our wallet paid the... read more

What treatment are you HAPPY to discuss with us? There was no treatment besides eat a bland diet for a few days. Obviously, if we take him to the vet and spend hundreds of dollars, we feel there is a problem. We just wish that he had been seen by a more experienced doctor. Nothing will bring Gus back and we are heartbroken. He should not have died!

Business response:

Mr. and Mrs. Schulz, as we mentioned in our reply to your post on Demandforce, we are so sorry for your loss and are heartbroken over what happened; and we do not take Gus' passing lightly. Based on the results of the bloodwork and x-rays, we feel our team made the most appropriate recommendations possible given the information and test results we had at the time. We would be happy to discuss all treatment provided and recommendations made should you wish. Please do not hesitate to give us a call and know that you are in our... read more

I've been going to this vet for a while and so has my family and so I heard about the dog influenza that is possibly going around and decided to take my dog here for a flu shot. I usually see the vet Rose Rakow and she is amazing. She is very understanding, knows how to approach a scared dog, is very compassionate and professional. I saw the vet Cynthia Dahlgren and she insinuated multiple times that because my dog growled at her my dog was traumatized by me when she was a puppy. She then continues to make snide comments to ... read more

Business response:

Thank you for your review and we are sorry that you were unhappy. As we had mentioned in both of our telephone conversations with you regarding your visit, it was not the intent of Dr. Dahlgren to make you feel as though you are not a good "mom". I feel it fair to say that as medicine has become more sophisticated, expectations of clients has led to higher standards regarding pet health care and the safety and welfare of our patients and clients. We would be remiss in our job as your veterinarian if we did not inform you as... read more

If I could give them no stars I would. Do not take your four legged friend there if you really love him/her. Thanks to Vet Cynthia, my dog is now dead. It all started with my dog having a swollen stomach and being very lethargic. We took him there and right off the bat you could tell that this vet has no passion for this profession. All she cares is about your money. She kept misdiagnosing our poor dog and was clueless as to what the images on his tummy x-rays meant. We finally had it with her and demanded an answer to our d... read more

Business response:

Thank you for your review and we are sorry for the loss of your pet. However, you have left us a bit confused. The last time we examined your dog was in November 2016 and we saw him twice. So much time has gone by that we have a difficult time specifically remembering what transpired and therefore must rely on our written records. On the first visit we did laboratory testing and prescribed medications and prescription diets to try at home while lab results were pending. We followed that visit with a telephone conversation d... read more

My beautiful ten year old Persian cat, Mosely, needed dental surgery but I could not afford the estimated $650 at the time. The Vet was able to give him a medication to ease the gum pain until I could afford to pay for the surgery the next month. When the next month came, I was still $200 short so I called and asked if they'd accept a post-dated check for the balance and they refused to accept it, even though I had been a client for several years and always paid my bills the day of service. I then took Mosely back in for ... read more

Very upset with the service. The first time I took my pup here they helped her and had a reasonable pricing. I go in today because I noticed the issue had returned so I asked to buy more of the medicine and they said no, and that she needed to be seen again. I tried to explain that it was the same issue as before and all I was being told was that I need to pay to have my dog seen. I left very upset and with the belief they cared more about making a profit instead of helping my dog. Will be searching for a new vet in the area... read more

Well, I called today to request a ballpark estimate on three specific procedures for my dog and they refused to give one unless I paid $50 for a visit. Since an estimate is pretty standard and several other vets are willing to work with me, I am going to one of them instead. The only good thing I can say is the receptionist who answered the phone was friendly.
