Dr Bollier Is THE BEST!! I've finally found a vet that isn't just about the money! He really really cares about your fur baby!! I live across town and still drive to Monterey st. He takes care of my lil guy like he was his own. A..MAZING...
I LOVE LOVE this place (and their other Southwest location). I have 7 pets- yes 7. 3 dogs, 2 rabbits, a guinea pig and a rat. It's really difficult to find a vet for exotic animals, so I spent quite a bit of time searching Bakersfield to see what they had to offer. I'm from Los Angeles, so it's definitely nerve wracking to switch vets and expect good care. The clinic itself is on the older side, with a super busy, super small waiting room. A friend recommended Stiern Veterinary, and today I took my dog in to see Dr. Bollier for a condition that I was very concerned about. The doctor was informative, caring, and professional. And his staff members were friendly and courteous. I was relieved to hear good news - my dog requires no further treatment at this time. However, I'm scheduling another appointment to have my dog's teeth cleaned. I would highly recommend Dr. Bollier and his staff!! Dr Dahlgren is great. She is doctor of my two dogs and she did a wonderful job on neutering and provided thorough explanation about health issues when we visited. The receptionists are friendly too. Wait time wasn't too bad, maybe 30 minutes every time we came. What I didn't like about this place is there was a bunch of extra fees for neutering such as pain medications, IV, blood test, cone collar and mandatory flea application if you dog has flea. Overall, we have had great experience here.

I am very pleased to have came across this veterinarian hospital. The staff was very professional and courteus. I want to give special thanks to Jairo for going beyond his duty and taking care of my brother in laws dog with extra care and kindness throughout the process. You can look all you want but there is NO better Pet Care Around. Sorry Jordan whoever took a vicious dog to board and blamed Stine for her ignorance about eyes already messed up but would not let anyone near to help LIKE THEY DO! Best group of people EVER. My boy is 13 now thanks to wonderful people who cured his Cancer 8 years ago.
I'm so glad I went here! They are very friendly and professional, and the best thing is they don't overcharge you. I will definitely be coming back with all my animals.
There is nothing on this Earth that I love more than my dog and they do a great job at taking care of him. "Most" of the vets here do a great job at making my dog feel comfortable and that means the world to me because to me there is nothing worse than seeing somebody who doesnt care do there job. I brought my fur baby in to get spayed. I have been taking my pets to a different vet but when I was looking at prices they were significantly cheaper and the reviews looked good so I decided to give them a try. I was so impressed all around. Their facility was clean, the customer service was impeccable and I was able to bring my baby in within 2 business days.
