Love Dr Krakow and staff here. Nicely priced and they love pets. Kennel is awesome too
I have used this veterinary office to care for our dogs and cats for more than 18 years. Our favorite veterinarians are Drs. Tim Anderson and Mark Holland but we have been well served by all of the veterinarians on staff. Not only that, but the office staff is excellent too - well organized, efficient and friendly. They are the kind of people who meet you once and remember your face and name forever. We have received excellent routine care as well as emergency care. Even though I live deep in the southwest, I make the long trek across town to visit Stiern for my pets and I truly couldn't be happier with their service. Over the years, I've had absolutely atrocious experiences at various vets in town (namely: Banfield in the Petsmart on Ming? Completely misdiagnosed my great dane, then killed him by giving him a medication that I later found out is supposed to be taken for no more than 3 days. . . for 14 days!), but I will always use Stiern. New management is horrible.. and front office is so rude! Do not take your pet here I've been going there for more than 8 years and I won't be taking my pets there any longer my last experience was terrible.

Would give zero stars if permitted. We have been long time formerly happy clients of Dr Rakow. However, our opinion has been altered to extremely unhappy former clients. As background, we have scheduled two appointments each approximately one month apart "because they were fully booked". When we showed for the first appointment we were informed "they had an emergency" so we understood and rescheduled to the next available, which was another months wait. Very unprofessional they will leave you on hold for over 20 minutes while there just sitting there blabbering then they remember they have patients on hold and just laugh I get it work sometimes gets hectic and overwhelming and we all need a break but I would rather be told can we give you a call back showing us that they actually care it's so sad I had to wait over 20.

My cat is a relatively new patient here. I have been trying to call and text for 40 min just to schedule an appointment. No one is answering phones - they say they prefer texting but are not responding to me at all (again 40 min I've been waiting)

They vastly need to improve their COVID protocols from the current way they are doing them. Their current process is to call a phone number that is always busy. If you can't get through on the phone they ask you text a phone number. If the number you text doesn't recognize they ask you to call so your back and you are back on step 1 not getting through on the phone. I was the first person in line for my dogs surgery but others that got here ended up getting through before me due this ridiculous process.
