Stivers Ford is A Joke. My step daughter made her first big purchase there. She’s had her car for three months, three payments and has driven it less than 10 days total. Every it stalls her on the side of the road they pick it up and a week later it’s “fixed”. This only leaves her broken down again. When she asked could she just trade it in they offered her $5,000 less than she paid for the car because they would just send it to the sale! Not to mention the $3000 down she paid. RIDICULOUS!
We are writing to formally express our dissatisfaction with the handling of our recent vehicle purchase and the overall lack of communication, organization, and customer service we experienced. If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. Don't do business here. It doesn't matter how great the deal looks, they will not honor the price they say, and you'll end up being out more money than you bargained for. Sold a vehicle that I purchased here a few years ago (which also was a nightmare - never again), and am attempting to get a refund from the warranty company for the remaining time on the extended warranty. They need the dealership to sign off. I’ve called 5 times now to get to the finance manager who is never there or unavailable. He has never called back. They finally sent me an email to send it to. Please be careful when dealing with this location. We visited the dealership yesterday and spent over 2 hours with the salesman. Unfortunately, we could not find a vehicle at that location. Today, we located one in Birmingham. We reached out to our local salesman to inquire about next steps. He stated the vehicle was still available. Never will I ever buy from here again. I will never recommend them to anyone. We bought a vehicle from them on the 15th. All we asked for was the title paperwork to be changed to both me and my wife. We were lied to repeatedly by the Finance Manager. Was told it could be fixed at the Probate Office in my county. Probate said Ford Motor Credit would have to fix it. FMC said dealer has to fix it. never again. They sell cars with previous owners as new and will not disclose that the vehicle had a previous owner. They will give you a printout that says they expect to get $1,200 for your car at auction and lead you to believe that's what they are doing so it's more than fair offer, yet 4 days later you'll find that vehicle on their website for$8000.
Never again. We drove 5 hours to this dealer because they had the truck we wanted. The salesman was great, if he didn’t know the answer he would find the answer. Now comes to the actual financing. We were in an office for maybe 5 minutes. Finance guy never gave us options with who to finance with- never told us what our rate was (until we asked) sold us a maintenance plan and told us we will never have to pay for an oil change.. a lie. Do your research before buying from Stivers Montgomery. On 11/22 I purchased a used 2020 F150. The vehicle wasn’t delivered to me until 11/26 due to the truck being “serviced.” The truck was delivered to me dirty, crumbs all in the interior and with a leak in the rear differential. I immediately called my salesperson and they stated they would check with service.
