Took our truck in for a diagnostic repair, got that fixed and the guy who was moving the truck to park it, hit the truck on the passenger side both doors. Did not tell anyone who worked there or nothing just parked it said nothing. I noticed it and we went back up there to Ford Stivers and let them know. They looking surprised and was like oh we will let our manager (Shane Rodger’s) know and tell the General manager Jim McCain as well. This is the most worthless dealer I have ever had experience with. Purchase a Truck 2.5 years ago through Ford Credit. They put on my title a different financial company that I never even applied to. The title was sent back to the wrong finance company so they sent it back to dealership. Jump forward 2.5 years I pay off the loan to Ford Credit only to find out the dealership has been sitting on the title because they didn’t know what to do with it. They lied to us several times, added nonsense extra fees and couldn’t even explain them, lied about my credit score. And tried to scam us out of almost 20k. STRONGLY recommend staying away from this place. Go to Lewis-Long in Prattville we love those folks!
If you got a Stivers Ford flyer in the mail and pulled the sticker on it to reveal a prize you won, don't fall for it like I and I'm sure a lot of others did. Mine had a code that matched up with a $100 cash prize only to get there and find that's not the actual prize. Apparently there's some small writing somewhere on there that changes that. I ended up with a set of cheap ear buds that probably cost less than dollar tree ones.
Be careful before purchasing a vehicle from this place. We purchased a 2017 truck in 2021 from them with the impression that we had some kind of extended warranty. We ended up having to buy a brand new motor to put in the truck in December that cost us $10,000 and they would do nothing to help. The sales rep completely lied about the whole ordeal. Look over ALL of your paperwork because this place will completely lie to you and rip you off! I will never, ever purchase another vehicle from them!
My mom recently went and purchased a car from this dealership. I’m so upset because they lied and took advantage of her. The car was a horribly overpriced purchase, but that aside, it needed an oil change the day she purchased it. It was purchased 1/10 at 99000 miles and the oil change sticker says change oil by 1/23 or 98000 miles. How could you in good conscience do that? And then you don’t even provide her with a full tank of gas?! I wouldn’t trust a single person here especially Timothy Sexton!!
We are from Birmingham and drove to the Montgomery location to buy a new F150 truck. The staff were happy to help us find a suitable candidate and we purchased the truck. The problems started soon after, all new vehicles are supposed to come with two keys. We have still not received ours a month after purchase, only empty promises. We had the worst purchasing experience ever. We were out of state cash buyers and they literally dropped the ball from day one. Way too many points of contact from the dealer and each one of then had no idea what was going on with each other almost as if they don't work together at the same place. It was horrible.
