Order was messed up, server error, server indicated that the bill was discounted 50% for one meal and the other was on the house,, receipt indicated that 2 orders salamon and 1 order of Shrimp for 2 people. Bill showed $20.00 due, we left the $20.00 and a $5.00 tip . Bottom line no discount for server error.. not really a big deal as I never expected a discount in the first place..
The restaurant was not even open at our reservation time (12:15pm). We got there on time and they weren’t even open even though their hours specified they would be.
Stone Creek used to be our favorite place to go eat but then they changed the entire menu, got rid of so many items (pretty much all of our favorites) the portions are much smaller and the food was just okay, not fantastic like it used to be. I'm not sure who decided to make all these changes for the worse, but we won't be back. The calamari wasn't even as good as it used to be. Really feels like a loss of a fantastic place to eat.
I ordered the fish, mahi-mahi and it was very dry due to over cooked. Husband had filet and asparagus. The steak was spot on but asparagus was burnt and over cooked. Our server was very friendly. With this establishment being a ‘finer dining’ restaurant, we were not impressed. We will not be back.

Made a 5:30 reservation for 4. When we arrived we realized it was "Devour" weekend in Indy and Stone Creek was participating. Which I think had an impact on how the overall night went. 2 of us ordered off the Devour Menu and 2 of us ordered off the regular menu. 2 mins after we ordered our desserts were brought to the table, prior to even receiving our wine and salads... 5 mins later the salads came out and were "auctioned off" by food runners who really didn't care about anything they were doing. Just ate there Saturday, August 10th. Very disappointed. The food was horrible. The spicy shrimp appetizer tasted as if someone poured too much salt in it. My wife’s salmon was dried out. My filet mignon was hands down the worst filet I have ever had. It was so bad, I couldn’t even eat it. I should have sent it back to the kitchen but we wrote it off as a loss, paid for our meal, and left knowing we will never return.
