First of all this is the second time I’ve been here with the same result, although I didn’t write a review on the first visit. The service was poor. I ordered a bottle of wine and the server didn’t know how to use a waiters cork screw. She had to find someone else to come to the table and open the wine while she watched. Stone Creek used to be one of my favorite restaurants. My family would choose to eat there especially for birthday celebrations. This time, we took some good friends to eat here as a thank you for some work they did for us. We wanted an upscale restaurant on the southside. We had a reservation for 6pm. we cannot recommend STONE CREEK Restaurant anymore something has happened at this restaurant..to their food just not the same..to have dropped off your menu the Parmesan crusted sirloin which was unbelievable to SOOOO many people is the most ridiculous thing ever. We gave you one more try.. Waitress was horrible! She let us know how bad we were inconveniencing her all night. $191.00 bill and she couldn't even muster a thank you, check on us, ask if we wanted dessert, which we did because it was my son's birthday celebration, ruined by poor service!
The last 3 times we have been there, beef has to be sent back. Most time under cooked, then brought back over done and dry.
Menu options have changed. Disappointed that no chicken entree is available!
All 4 of us ordered beef. My prime rib was so under-cooked, there was blood all over the plate and potato., and was cold to touch in the middle. 2 Steaks that were ordered were really over cooked and dry. 4th one was good. Although my prime rib was resolved, everyone was done by the time I got it back. We are regulars who eat here 5-7 month.
I would not recommend it for the buffet brunch which is what they served on this day. The food was dried out or just completely missing when it was time to eat for us.
Had reservations but was seated 30 minutes after. Service was slow with both taking our orders and with fulfilling our orders. Steaks were good but sides were dry or cold. Ran out of potatoes. Usually a great dining experience but Mother’s Day was unfortunate. Will not be going back.
