This is my very favorite restaurant. But I would not recommend their buffet. When I made reservations for Easter lunch I thought we would have the choice of buffet or ordering off the menu. That was totally my mistake. The food was cold and there were not that many choices to choose from. I will definitely return to this restaurant, but not for a buffet.
Not for a buffet! Lower level was totally uninviting. Food was mediocre at best!
Waitress appeared rushed and busy. Food was ok, not up to usual I think as we are fairly regular diners at Stone Creek.
I found the meatloaf to be dry. I loved the chili bean soup though. The restaurant was too noisy.
The food was great! However my baked potato was half done, I was surprised they cut into it and then served it that way. They brought me another one out but I was already finished with my meal
The night was a disaster. I asked to speak to the manager and they told me he left. Three different occasions the bus boys dropped four buckets of glass. ( loud and very disruptive). About 20 minutes after ordering our meal they came back and said they were out of one of the dishes we ordered. I had to get up and get my own beverage twice. We had a reservation for 2 weeks prior and we still had to wait 15 min after our reservation time for a table. It took 1.5 hours to get our food. We had 5 kids that were hungry and inpatient. The service this time was very poor. We approached the staff and they said, “ sorry they were short staffed”. You would think they would have had 2 weeks to prepare for our party. We had reservations for 7pm - didn't get seated until after 7:30. Our waitress was great. Our food was delicious but it wasn't very hot...mashed potatoes on 2 plates were cold. Kind of pricey for cold food.
The waitress kept spilling oil on our table from the bread, she lost our order, the entrees were cold. The reservation was at 730, we didn't get seated until 745. Dinner for 2 took over an hour and a half. We had to cancel plans after dinner because of it. Bad experience over all.
