We were seated next to the kitchen, so not quiet as I would have liked
We have been here before and always had wonderful meals and service, but we were disappointed on New Year’s Eve. Even though we had made reservations well in advance, we were seated at a high top right across from the bar. In addition to the people hanging around there waiting for tables, the aisle between those people and us was a “runway” for bringing people through to their tables! I was very uncomfortable and anxious to eat and get out. It really detracted from the evening!
We asked to be away from the kitchen. However we were out in a room by the kitchen where the noise level was pretty high.
It boggles my mind how a restaurant can serve cold food. 2 of my party ordered the Squash Wellington. It came out "not hot" barely warm. It was send back and instead of them remaking the food, they broke it apart and heated it..burning the crust and reserved it. Only offered complimentary desert...not complimentary entree. The manager's excuse was that he didn't want our parties to wait on a entire remake. Unacceptable. there were only 5 people in our party...how can 2 of the 3 entree's come out cold...Bad Kitchen management... read more
Food was at best average. Ordered the crab cake dinner, so much going on in the dish you couldn’t even taste the crab. Husband said his chicken was ok. Got drinks we didn’t order. Don’t like to complain, so we just won’t be back. Somewhat pricey for the quality of food. Disappointing!
We had a group of 6, 2 of us ordered steaks neither was prepared as ordered. Considering that our bill was over $300, the waitress was barely average.
