WOW - what a menu - great selection - something for everyone - I had the Pork Tenderloin - it was awesome -
One of the best beer lists in town -- clearly chosen by someone who knows and likes beer and understands that a great wine list is not enough; a great restaurant also needs a great beer list.
Good service and consistently tasty food. Reasonably priced, quiet (especially early in the evening) and comfortable booths. Their fish is our favorite.
I prefer the booths to the table. I felt on display at the table in the middle, plus it also seems to be a lot louder than in the booths. The place could be quieter...it tends to be too loud with poor acoustics. However, the food and service are great.
Wonderful food, choices, atmosphere...
Food was good, typical of the type of restaurant, well prepared and well presented. However, this restaurant seems to be victim of a new trend I am seeing lately, namely adding hot spices to everything they make. Even the oil to dip the bread seemed to have hot spices. Some of us actually do not like spicy hot food. Spicy is good, spicy hot is not. If nothing else, please disclose in the menu that the item is hot (and to some of us, very mild is still hot). Good restaurant, wish they dial back the hot spice.
While there's only one vegetarian entree on the menu. There is a decent selection of seafood. The portions are generous. I really like the dipping oil for the bread...it's addictive! The house salad had a nice touch of sprouts and sunflower seeds...I liked that as it made the salad different from the norm and was very tasty, especially with the raspberry balsamic vinaigrette. I also really like the decor, the slate and marble are very appealing. I would like my kitchen to look so nice!
While the food was well prepared and the service was exceptional, this restaurant just lacks personality. My party and I described it as a "hotel restaurant" - okay, but nothing to write home about. There are other places I'd want to try before going back here.
