We were disappointed in our wait time (although it was Mother's Day)--we waited about 20 minutes for our table, but kept being told we were second on the list.
Pros: Dinner was great and the servers were very friendly. The Salmon was amazing!!! Cons: It was way over priced and the deserts were horrible. The carrot cake and cheese cake were very small portions and it was disgusting. I doubt we’ll be back.
The smallest piece of salmon I ever saw on a salad. Boo!
I really like the food and service at Stone Creek, but I was not happy with Sunday's brunch. I had reviewed the menu on line before we left home, but I had seen nothing to tell me that Sunday afternoon was limited to brunch. We celebrated my son’s birthday at Easter brunch. The food was mediocre at best. We have been regular patrons for years and this was by far the worst experience to date. The menu was very limited. My son had the chicken sandwich which was covered in so much sauce it was barely edible. My daughter had the biscuits and gravy. It was terrible...no flavor to the gravy or the biscuits. I received a different meal from what I ordered. A first time for me! I ordered a salad and received a chicken dish I wanted a gluten free meal so while they did offer to redo my order it would have delayed my eating. The service was very slow - at least an hour between ordering and being served. We won’t go back again.
Celebrate our Anniversary my dinner was good, my wife was not pleased with the salmon..risotto dinner. Risotto was very very salty and rather thick. Unable to eat all if her dinner.
Good food and great atmosphere, but this time the service wasn’t up to the usual high standards. Our server didn’t pause long enough at our table to see if we needed anything. We were ready to order dessert when he dropped off the menu, but instead of waiting a split second, he turned and left the table. Very disappointing when we made the initial reservation, called to confirm that day & even reminded the waiter directly when there that it was for a birthday, there was still no candle & no wishes expressed by anyone. Fine for a meal but sadly not a place for a celebration.
