We always go to Stone Creek for special occasions. The food is always excellent, although this trip, a filet ordered "medium rare" was "rare". The problem was that our party of 6 was seated in the area between the front room and bar and the back area. It's a narrow section because the kitchen is next to it. Generally good food and service but not this time. Ordered a salad and it was small and dry.
Food and service just so so this last visit. In the past we were always very pleased with our experience here.
Have gone to Stone Creek many times. Our worst experience but still fair. Seated promptly at table in walkway near kitchen. Very noisy and busy. Distracting and difficult to carry conversation. Took 15 min for server. Salad came out but not prepared as menu, missing items. Wedge salad dressing does not work. Pasta dish flavorful but more onions that penne pasta. The new menu changes are a loss for some of our favorites. Limited vegetarian choices.
every one else in the party raved about their choice but my fish tacos weren't what I hoped. wine and desserts were yum!
We were given a gift card to dine at Stone Creek and used it to celebrate our anniversary. Although the food was good, the service was not great. First, the menus inside were filthy. Second, we did not get any bread until after our entrees were served. Third, my glass of wine that I wanted to drink with my entree did not come until halfway through the meal. Too big to run well. Service not handle well. It was Mothers Day at 1:30 and there was no option for a brunch. I wish Open Table had the ability to ask if a resturant was serving brunch or some other details.
I ordered a combo steak and chicken meal with broccoli. The teak was supposed to be medium rare but came *very* well done. The chicken was flavorful, if a bit tough, and the broccoli wasn't -it was a vegetable medley. I ate the chicken and sent back the steak and veggies. Very disappointing. We went there for Easter brunch and all my food was cold. The price did not reflect the quality. Overpriced and difficult to get device. I had to ask for water refills when wat staff really didn't have to serve anything but drinks.
