This is our third time at Stone Creek. The first time in Montgomery was fantastic. The steak was so tender and flavorful. The second time was at the West Chester location and the steak was over--cooked and my mother's was very under-cooked. Nothing was done to correct that. This time, we went back to Montgomery and we had good service and the steak was good, but still a little over-cooked and very peppery. My mother didn't even eat hers because of all the pepper.
We had dinner with my elderly parents and my adult son and it was a nice place to sit and catch up. However, when it came time for our food, they only delivered three out of the four meals. After waiting several minutes, I flagged down a passing hostess to ask where the other plate of food was. We waited several more minutes for it to appear. The drinks were superb. I ordered filet medallions with lobster risotto. The medallions were good but the risotto was very dry. It tasted like plain rice with lobster chunks and asparagus stirred in. It had no creamy texture.
We had a group and were seated in a corner, so conversation between all of us was great. Would recommend. Remember to park underneath in the free and convenient parking garage.
Sorry to say our visit to Stone Creek was well below their typical high standards. The meal came out quite simply cold. Scallops, sides and even the plate. The service was good and the meal was promptly replaced. I'm sure just a one off.
This was not a place that I would return anytime soon. The meal started off good with Bread and French onion soup. From there the meal went downhill quickly. My mother got the Shrimp over Fettuccini and the Shrimp were tremendously over cooked and were like rubber. I got the Bacon Cheeseburger that had no seasoning or taste what so ever and was over cooked. My daughter had the kids steak that was overcooked.
