The repair shop I had been going to for 40 years, well the main guy retired and sold the business. I was looking for a new place and a place closer to my home in Milpitas. Stress Free...so far, so good! Had some major work done on my Toyota van and have been very pleased with how it all turned out. I am trying to establish a relationship with Tae like I had with my old guy...someone I can trust to give me the straight scoop on what my car needs for a fair price. So far, so good!

I had to have my air conditioner repaired and was able to discuss potential pricing via text on the weekend. Appointment went smoothly the next day. They even covered a Lyft for me to get back to work. My car was ready the next day. The staff at the shop are super friendly. Alex and Charles helped me assess what was really necessary to repair immediately and what could potentially be postponed. I felt like they were honest and looking out for my best interest.

I keep getting text prompts from Stress-Free Milpitas for a review so here is my experience: I went in last year and paid $1500 for all 4 rotor and brake pad sets to be replaced. A year later (last week), I noticed my brakes were grinding again, so I returned to Stress-Free. They told me BOTH of my rear brakes and rotors needed to be replaced again, and quoted me about $700, claiming it was due to "wear and tear" and out of warranty.
