Unless you want to be ripped off and not have your car work properly don't go there. Spent almost $3000 and never fixed my truck properly. Save yourself a lot of frustration and stay far far awayfrom this place.
It is hard not to use derogatory language when describing this place or Joel. I once failed a smog, and applied for assistance through the Bureau of Automotive Repair. Joel told me my truck needed a NEW gas tank, and I went through the whole lengthy process to request assistance through the BAR to pay the $450 bill. Joel got me a smog cert passed, and I was relieved. A couple weeks later, I developed a serious gas leak, so I looked at the tank where the filler hose connects. ok here we go, you first brought your truck in on 08/02/2011 for a fail smog check that lead to a fuel system not pass the evap leak . we replace the fuel filler hose not the the fuel tank like you said and the total was not 450.oo then on 03/21/2013 you come in and said you have a fuel smell when i ask you you to sign the work order to inspect the truck you refused to sign . i can not work on or inspect any vehicle with out a work order. then 2 years after the fact we repair the filler neck not the tank. now on 7/14/16 you ... read more
This is the only repair shop I ever heard of that does NOT include the price of diagnostic if you get the repairs form them, they will charge you either way..If you are calling around the area for mechanics and this place is the only one ready to take you right away there is a reason for that. I been to them twice and was very disappointed both times. We spent 5k here on our diesel truck. They had it for a month (no exaggeration). The amount of time they took was unprofessional. I got the run around every time. And guess what? The check engine light is still on! I will not be repeating business with them.
I have been going to this shop for about 8 months now for one single issue that they cannot seem to repair completely. Also their pricing is not according to the recommended pricing of numerous publications that protect the consumer, it is way higher. Also their diagnosis fees are added to the repair total instead of being credited towards the repair total if you do the repair at their shop like the dealer does. It's basically double dipping. I went to this busy shop with high expectations. It's unfortunate every interaction I've had with them has been rushed and unproductive. When I took my car in originally they didn't really seem to be too interested in listening to the list of problems I was having with it. I suppose their fancy $90 diagnostic scan can tell them that.
