I have been going to Joel's Auto for about 4 years and they do a great job. When they fix something its fixed.They also dont over charge, which is something you dont hear anymore.

This morning I had a problem with my key fitting in the door keyhole. I took my car to this shop and they fixed the problem right then and there. When I asked where I should pay for their service they said it was complementary. I received a card for future business and noticed a fish at the bottom of the card, Christian owned and employed. I will be back! They didn't sell me or push me to order anything but tried every way to make this affordable and less unconvinced. We were having problem with a late 80's Chevy Step Van. We were recommended to go to Joel's from Green's Auto Tech - just down the street. Our Truck would not pass smog so it needed some extensive TLC.. Well Joel's did and amazing job and the truck is running great and passed smog with flying colors. As a post repair - we had problems a few months after with the truck idling too fast. Called Joel's - they took a look and said the choke cable broke causing the problem. Coming from a family where my great grandpa owned his own automotive shop for his entire life, makes me pretty darn picky when it comes to mechanics. That being said Joel does the job right and I really appreciate that. I have little 2000 vw bug that's had electrical problems since the day I got it. She's been in and out of so many garages, even the vw dealer was no help. New to Joel's. I was surprised and happy to find an honest mechanic. The prices are fair and they explained everything. You can see the mechanic's area as you walk in. Nothing is hidden. I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

I have been using Joel for over 30 years and have been happy all this time. Joel does what is right for his customers. I have had them do everything from Engine repair to Smog work and have not had any issues with any of the work done by this shop. The work is very Professional at reasonable prices.

I went to this busy shop with high expectations. It's unfortunate every interaction I've had with them has been rushed and unproductive. When I took my car in originally they didn't really seem to be too interested in listening to the list of problems I was having with it. I suppose their fancy $90 diagnostic scan can tell them that. Spent $500 to leave the shop with my engine light still on. The problems were a little better for a couple weeks but they had for this price put a short lived band-aid on the engine problem.
