Attention to detail. If I and my realtor had not been paying closer attention, the amount of money borrowed would have been more than intended. That should not happen. Luckily it was fixed and we closed within a reasonable amount of time. Also, if you're going to sell a loan to someone else, you should notify the customer before they start getting emails and mail assuming the new loan. Had to remind agents multiple times about bank statements that covered multiple months. Asked agent via email the day before closing if they still needed me to still pay off credit card, no reply. Closed the loan then found out later it was required only because there was a check sent to me payable to the bank by title company a week later.

The personnel at VIP Mortgage were wonderful: friendly, consistently available, and always willing to help. However, the organization of the process, for us, seemed a little lacking. There seemed like there was an over abundance of paperwork needed, and the communication throughout it, at times, was confusing. I have no complaints about the personnel at all. Just the process, at times.
