The Title Co. delayed the approval of my loan because it wanted more information on a house that was settled in my first divorce over 15 yesrs ago. The house belonged to.my ex-wife and was sold more than 7 years ago, yet they demanded more information that I felt was irrelevant.

We had 45 days to close this transaction and you guys were not proactive in your work you left everything to the last minute. we should have had all the issues that arised taken care off way before the COE date.

the process took too long, very few contacts for updates and information. My original goal was to take some cash out and when that was unavailable for my house type I should have just moved on and found someone else to do that process - or quit the goal entirely. I started this process in August or maybe even in July and it did not close until February - that is unacceptable. There had to be 2 of so many things done to cover the time frame - and that cost extra dollars.

If I had not started calling around for a status on Thursday before escrow was due to close on Monday, the transaction may have still been in limbo come the escrow closing date.\n\nI expected better communication and not having to jump through hoops and provide additional documentation at the very last minute. Especially, when I had been very prompt in providing all requested documentation early on in the transaction. \n\nIt was stressful, but I was thankful it all came together in the end.

We had to request updates. We understand the amount of volume that you are dealing with on refinancing but if you cannot give a great level of service then maybe you are taking on too much.

The process for submitting requests for documents seemed inefficient to me. I submitted a number of documents that I thought were identified adequately, but some of the documents were requested at a later date. It seemed that the system lends itself to going back through the documents and finding the information that was needed.\nI sent a number of emails that requested a specific answer to a question that related to the loan process. I did not get an email that answered my specific question

Communication. I have bought and refinanced a few houses over the last 20 years. Never had such a lack of prompt communication. Consider this process started in mid August, was finalized almost 4 months later, was charged twice for payoff statement after I provided requested information prior to and on October 27th, delays in processing paperwork after receipt of docs. Would not use in the future.

To be honest, while I mostly enjoyed working with the team, there were a couple things which could have been less stressful.\nThe appraisal almost didnt happen on time and it took me calling about 8 local appraisers at the last minute and beg and bribe the one person who finally agreed to help us meet our deadline. That should have been taken care of earlier. \nAlso upon arriving to closing that morning, we had 3 more last minute conditions that should have been handled earlier. Causedmore Stress
