MY ROOM GOT BROKEN INTO TWICE. ITS A VERY SHITTING ESTABLISHMENT. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PEICE OF SHIT COMPLEX TO ANYONE TO LEASE.

Both of my daughter rented at University Edge last year. 6 months AFTER they left they both received charges totaling over $200.00 for supposed "damages". There was no way to prove or disprove these charges and to avoid having their credit rating affected I paid. This year my daughter rented at The Heights at 1301 and without an walk thru (despite a written request to be present when the inspection was done),were once again charged "damages" and requested to pay. Are you considering in renting at Heights at 1301? Well let me help you with your decision- DON'T! The employees are awful, rude and do not care about your issues at all. Heights will constantly charge you fees and make things up for why you were charged. They do not pay attention to whose check goes where. Each month my sisters checks went into my account and then charged my sister a fee for their mistakes and when we go to fix it, they still expect her to pay the late fee. can I say bad experience here at 1301, If you are smart do not stay here, the whole complex is nasty inside and out. The outside of these apartments look like they have not been washed in years and the walkway and steps are so nasty that you feel like you need to take a shower. THEY do not enforce their rules with overnight guests at all. My daughter went without cable for 6 months or longer because the office would not do their job and get this fixed, but when i asked for refund for not having access to cable I was told NO!... read more

A lot of work needs to be done management-wise. The place is nice and the young office personnel are exceptional. Internet is awful and the management needs to realize that we are people living here. Cares about making money, not for its residents. I cannot truly recommend this place to anyone until I can see that they are trying to listen and work with us.
