The convenience to ETSU and the cheaper price is about the only thing Heights at 1301 has going for them. If you overlook the outdated appliances and deteriorating furniture provided, this may be the place for you. The dryer will burn holes in your clothing, after the washing machine halfway destroys anything of value. Before my apartment was remodeled the stained, and probably molded, carpets always impressed guests. To anyone thinking of living here anytime soon I have some advice for you. Don't. These apartments are truly awful. Management finds any and ever thing that's wrong in your apartment, charges you for it, and then half the time doesn't fix. We have blinds that we paid for over a year ago and they're still broken. I was charged 200 dollars for a hole in my carpet that never got replaced, and now everyone is getting new carpeting and they refuse to refund my money. The internet here is terrible. They constantly promise to improve but nothing's happening. Stay away if you need internet at all.
Honestly, just living here because it was cheap. The staff is usually rude and condescending, our apartment was NOTHING like what was advertised to us.... Spray painted bug literally stuck to our living room wall, shotty work, paint stains all over the floor and furniture, mildew, drawers missing (STILL even after a fix it request). I'm not the happiest with this place, but for what it's worth, you don't pay much money, you are close to campus, have the BucShot and there are tons of parties.. oh and if there is a serious pro... read more
There is such a thing as unconscionable contracts and Heights 1301 are pro's at them. Immoral companies that feed on unstable young people.
