About this business
My mother-in-law gets great care, she recently had a cold, and they immediately called her doctor for cough medicine for her. They have wonderful activities great food. and most importantly a wonderful and caring staff. We cannot say enough good things about them.
Overall I am disappointed. It is not as advertised in the beginning to me and there have been many issues. The biggest area for improvement would be the food and the dining room service. I would recommend the facility, but with reservations.
While my mother was there everything that they did there was excellent and the food was better than you would get in a lot of restaurants. The staff there will do anything within their power to make the families as well as the residents lives to be as good as possible. We are extremely happy with the way summit of uptown handled everything involving my mom all the way up until the end

The staff, facility, friendly residents, meals and activities have made my mom truly happy! If you're looking for someplace that offers everything you'd want for yourself when you age and where the people genuinely care about you and your wellbeing, then go to the Summit. You'll have total faith that your loved one is in great hands!
I toured this facility and it was fine, just over budget for us.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a nice tour experience and they did offer memory care which was good, however we felt that the space was a little more confined and did not feel as open to us.
I went for a tour of the facility today with [name removed] and was very impressed. I was greeted by the lovely receptionist who knew my name right away! I was very welcomed from the get-go. The facility itself is extremely clean, well kept and everyone I encountered was very nice and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and have large windows that let in a lot of natural light, which is great. I met the chef and was able to see the menu selections which all sounded very good. It is a nice community. The highlight of the community would be the lower level staffing, everyone that worked for the Director of Nursing was fantastic. It would have been nice to have a check in list to make sure that everything was covered for care and acclimating my loved ones to the community. The laundry, changing of linens, housekeeping, apartment, all the meals, and utilities were covered in the monthly fee. They did a fantastic job at housekeeping and laundry.
