So far, so good It's only been a week....too early to evaluate
Everyone has been very friendly and h... Everyone has been very friendly and helpful and kind to not only my Mom but her visitors.The food is wonderful at the Summit of Uptown.My Mom can't wait to help with the gardening as that is her favorite Hobby,
Great location; nice apartments; friendly staff; good pricing We were drawn to The Summit because of it's prime location--walking distance to dining, shopping, movies, library, train station. During our tour, we were impressed with the choice of apartments, the friendly and accommodating staff, and open areas. There was a lecture taking place with a large group of people in attendance. Building exterior is ugly. Dining ar... Building exterior is ugly. Dining area to be remodeled. nice chandelars. Rooms newly remodeled (nice bathroom, new carpeting/flooring, granite kitchen sinks, nice shower,etc) all new. swimming pool. Only 2 small areas for exercising and group activities. Very few activities. very quiet

residents seemed very inactive (dinne... residents seemed very inactive (dinner time); no one at all in common areas; also getting dark and pre-const 1st flr units were very dark but overlooked nice courtyard (but which can also darken a unit); do they have a program director? No art room, game room, etc. Excellent location for my mom! nice units; storage; indoor assigned parking inc; No fitness area - renovating very small area for such; abt 6 steps to 1st floor
For whatever reason my relative’s review isn’t here for viewing. Isn’t this the purpose of this?! Don’t bring your loved ones here. The Summit has nothing to offer whatsoever for their residents. The Summit is only interested in making a sale and not about our loved ones well-being being, health and safety. Incompetent staff and building. Save yourself a trip and don’t waste your time,

I recently visited the Summit for my recently widowed mom; I was disappointed the moment I arrived. Horrible parking set-up. I had such a difficult time finding parking. I met with someone who had no idea what they were talking about, totally clueless and uninformed about seniors. The facility is ok, nothing special, apartments look old. This facility doesn’t have much to offer. Glad my visit was horrible at Summit which eventually led to me The Sheridan down the street.
