We are very happy with this community for our loved one. Everyone has been great at this community. Just like any other place this community is expensive. This is a nice small community for someone in assisted living. It is very comfortable and it is not overly glamorous or anything like that this community is very homey feeling. Our family had an in person tour and this would of been our second choice, the staff was very friendly and informative but we did not like the location.

The community is very neat and clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. They do a great job taking care of my loved one and the food and activities are great also. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

They have been doing their best to keep residents engaged during Covid-19. The location is great. The staff seems to really care about the residents. The room sizes are great, Large units. They have a storage closet in each unit. The layout of the community is good. The food is average, they do have a lot of menu options.
My mom is at Summit. While we are mostly happy with the facilities, the pictures of the garden are misrepresented here. There are very few (if any) flowers, and only a few scraggly bushes planted. The much promised garden in actuality is a big disappointment and not at all as pictured.
[Name removed] was very knowledgeable and Helpful by working to get Dad into independent living, w/ ala carte services, and not being satisfied with mandating assisted living. Complementary daytime chauffeur service to anywhere within 5 mile radius. This is an older building, the newer part ( assisted-living) was built 30 years ago. Being located in the middle of downtown Park Ridge is nice - easy access to nearby shops, the Pickwick Theater, and the park. [Name removed] spoke directly to Dad, not to me while ignoring Dad.
Residents were active and social and happy. Many well dressed residents! Dining area was beautiful and the Sunday brunch looked delicious. Common areas were nice. This facility is a converted hotel and is quite large in my opinion. It has had a couple renovations and is nice, however I still felt the vibe of a hotel as it relates to the residential floors. Mom seems at ease living here My Mom has been here a while and she’s very happy. The staff is good to her and she likes the food. There are usually 2 entrees at night that she can choose from and she likes the variety that they provide. The staff has always been very cordial when speaking with anyone in our family and if there are any issues or if we have any questions, they always say how happy they are to help.
