Great location. Staff was very helpful and clearly had a desire to work with me. Higher priced but very homey with many activities going on. Facility has all required on site having recently been upgraded. So Far I'm comparing this facility to all others.
Options for care and comfort This was a nice tour from the friendly staff. The community was clean and we liked the atmosphere. The menu looked appealing. They offer activities for the residents who are able to participate. We would suggest that others tour this community for the care that is available for a loved one.
Not the best layout... When we toured Summit of Uptown, none of us liked it. The set up was horrible, they had the dining room all the way at the end of the hall they should have placed it in the center, there was room there. Also, they did not have an elevator, they had a lift which was horrendous. It was a combination of memory care and assisted living. They were more geared to the assisted living and the memory care seemed like a jail, it was not what we were looking for.
Our tour This community was our second choice. The administrative person we met was nice and helpful. The community is clean and seemed quiet. This seemed like a really good community.
My father did not like the limited lighting in the parking garage which we were told will be fixed and the location in the downtown Park Ridge.
phenomenal They have been there for me since day one when I first started looking for a place for my brother, with all his medical issues, to stay. The lady that runs the place does extremely well, and provides excellent friendly care. They just have been phenomenal! They have been willing to work with us on the financing, and have really been great overall. I always rave about the place and very highly recommend them. My brother is really enjoying himself there.
We are really happy with them. We are really happy with them. They are much more cost effective than the last place we were. They are very accommodating, and friendly. And they are just as nice as the more expensive place was.
Fantastic place! Things have been wonderful at Summit of Uptown, we're very pleased with it! The staff have all been very friendly and caring. They really bend over backwards to make sure she is comfortable, we've even had a nurse run an errand for her off of the clock! They do an excellent job keeping the place looking nice, and they tidy up her room every day. One aspect I've been particularly impressed with is the dining service! I also really liked the staff here. My loved one was here for about a year. The thing I liked the most is the number of units they have. It's a smaller facility, and I think they are able to be a little more attentive to the residents. This is assisted living where you have your own apartment. I also really liked the staff here.
