Get directionsToo busy wait time are always crazy long..talking many hours. Also crazy expensive to include the medication which seemed to be inflated way more then 500% for carprofen. Will admit the staff was very friendly and caring.

Hello Jay, thank you for the feedback. We have seen a significant increase of patients coming through our emergency service. We strive to help every patient that comes to us in need. We prioritize all critical patients as they come in. Once we are able to determine if your pet is stable and not experiencing a medical emergency, we will provide you with options for care. We do have General Practice appointments available if you need to schedule. Thank you!
Terrible bedside manner, all they care about is getting their money (which they inflate and charge outrageous amounts for anything and everything). We took our 3 month old puppy here because he was sick, they told us he had Parvo even though he tested negative for it TWICE. They wanted us to keep him there for a week at $1,000+ a day, which we couldn’t afford so they sent us home and told us to hope for the best. Turns out the little guy just had worms and just needed a dewormer.... how does a professional veterinarian miss ... read more

Update: 11/4 My dog is now at my regular vet having surgery because she rapidly got worse. And Sumner had the audacity to call me this morning saying that I needed to pay the remainder of my bill when I had already paid the full amount in cash. The vet didn't listen or take my dogs condition serious and now she is worse than yesterday. And I waited an extra 2 hours just for the vet to tell me that she is getting antibiotics.

The Sumner vet is an amazing hospital capability wise but their practice is deceiving. They perform procedures/tests without your knowledge if they feel it’s needed/best and charge you for it months later. We got charged just now for a test that apparently took place months ago on a vet visit without our knowledge. Not only is this terrible business practice but our animals are like family and to experience this disrespect is absurd. I will never take my animals here again.

So I’m here to rant and tell you sumner vet hospital is literally the worst. 7 hours after being told 1 hour wait. Honestly, I don’t care if I have to wait as long as my dog is getting help. The bill was insane. Again, as long as he’s getting help. The vet was a jerk because I didn’t want to go through them for his seizure meds and extra tests. I just wanted to make sure it wasn’t life threatening or going to get worse then follow up with my vet when they opened. They told me he’s not in pain at all and gave no meds. Toda... read more
I'm so so SO disappointed in this vet office that my original vet recommended to me. I will NEVER come here again and will make sure everyone around me doesn't either. The only decent thing they did was help my dog who developed mastitis and got an abcess that had to be surgically removed. even though we had to wait FOURTEEN HOURS for the surgery to take place! after the surgery 5 days ago, I was told she needed to have the packing material removed by now. I needed to call and make an appointment which I did the next mornin... read more

Hire front desk people that actually answer the phone, and then listen to you when you tell them what they need to know so they can schedule/respond appropriately, rather than putting you on hold multiple times and asking you to repeat the information over and over. This has happened every single time I've called. It is so aggravating. Then they ask me for information (vet names, meds, doses, etc.) which is all in their system and act put out that they have to look that up. What kind of medical facility has this become? It u... read more
They don’t care about the customer or the pets’ well-being. Very unpleasant interactions with the vet and team members. Rude from when they took my pet in to taking my card information. No sense of empathy or customer service. Would definitely NOT recommend
