I would say my stay at Sunrise House was overall pretty good. I felt that from start to finish everyone that worked here was very thorough with their role in helping me. Unfortunately, at the end of my stay, I was not able to coordinate leaving the scheduled day. I had to leave 2 days earlier due to my parent's work schedule during the week. Kaitlin was very helpful throughout this process. She was very informative and knowledgeable. Curtis was lights out. He ensured everything went smoothly for me. The TA's were also informative. They were respectful and understanding as well. The facility could use some work, but overall it was functional. It could also use an upgrade in some of the recreational equipment. Everything was great was worried about treatment in the begining but Sunrise made a simple and great process
My review is that the place needs improvement in the communication, the nurse staff, should be alot more careful with how they disperse medication and as far as the intake process should be alot more clear as far as the call center concern, they should tell people witch place has what becase people are expecting one thing and getting something else, but overall I am thankful for this time to get it right.
Treatment and care at this facility was exceptional. The staff were always attending to my needs. I leave the facility with a far better feeling of hope than when I entered. Highly recommend.
Additional personell should be hired. Associates are overwhelmed which causes frustration on both parties. This should be addressed before something really goes wrong.
When i came in i told the nurses and staff that i was on the sublicade shot and also withdrawling from alcohol. That if they coulkd not provide the shot then i would only do detox here and then transfer to another program that does provide it. I was treated for the alcohol with adavan but not given anything for the sublicade shot. when i came in i was told that they do not provide the sublicade shot here but they could take me to get it done.. most of my stay was great due to my peers and a handfull of staff. i am pleased to say i didnt have to take any meds because the nursing staff except for one nurse were very bad at their job. multiple people would constantly complain about not having their meds even though they asked for it to be ordered days in advanced. one patient was even given a double dose of their sleeping meds in the morning and had to go to the hospital. luckily the staff held him for enough time to flush out his system. as well as ghe counselors an... read more
