Fresh food with totally reasonable prices. All tacos come with guacamole included. It is clean and friendly, and the food was very good. Straightforward.

These are the most authentic Tijuana tacos you're ever gonna find. Fresh homemade tortillas high-quality meats all the ingredients are top-notch and the service is even better. My friend and I were having a taste test between Tacos el franc and tacos el Gordo (previous taco spot we enjoy)... we had a side-by-side comparison inside Tacos el franc and truly there is no comparison. I visited during lunch with some coworkers! I thought this place was ok. It was empty when we visited, very clean restaurant and friendly staff. I ordered a pork and beef taco and it came out to more than $10. The tacos were super oily and messy, not a big fan! Flavor was good but I wish the servings were bigger and less oily.
Tacos El Franc in the Gaslamp District is one of those places that sticks with you long after you leave. We loved everything, but let me be clear--the campechano taco is on another level. Loved their tacos. Great flavor. My brother who is used to having these tacos in Tijuana felt that these were over priced. But I'm not from here so I'm gonna say 5 out of 5.

Best taco in all of San Diego. I usually drop in and get the mixto taco on corn tortilla; however today, I was convinced to try the newly introduced flour tortilla taco with cheese. To no surprise it was fabulous. In fact, I have to admit, the flour superseded the corn in my humble opinion. The service was extremely friendly as it usually is.
Best tacos in SD! Had to go back the same week I had tried it for the first time. Would definitely recommend
