We arrived to a practically empty restaurant at 5:45 and our order was promptly taken - however the service was suddenly non-existent as the place filled up - we waited over 1/2 hr for food and apps & dinner brought out at same time. Then drink orders were forgotten then dessert order didnt come - we got up to leave and asked about dessert - it was milk shake and they said they were backed up with 8 orders but then the manager made it and we left late for show

Food was fine, but nothing special; beer selection was poor; and service was lackluster. We ordered dessert to share but noted we had to leave soon for a concert. Waited 20 minutes just for a slice of cake. And had to get someone's attention to get it that soon. Wait staff was missing in action at various times. And one irritation that I'm noticing more often in DC restaurants: a required surcharge to the bill. When will restaurants just be honest and raise their prices. Especially with the delay for desserts and confusion with the service charge. We do include a 5% surcharge on all checks due to a DC law passed in 2022. Had to wait a long time to place our order. Our mimosa which we ordered was not provided. We wound up cancelling it. The food was good once served.

we had a 11:30 reservation, didn’t get seated until 12:20… service was slow and chaotic. Would recommend a different location

My friend and I made a reservation for 9:45am. We were seated right away but after almost 20 minutes, no one even provided us with water. Multiple servers and staff members walked by us. When we got up to leave, we heard 2 servers saying “hurry up they’re leaving” in Spanish. This confirmed that they decided to ignore us intentionally. I’ve attended this location more than once and I’ve never had such an awful experience.

We made a special trip for the featured lobster menu items, with only moderate expectations since this is after all part of a big chain a long way from Boston or Maine. We should have moderated them more. LOTS of filler in the lobster roll, and the lobster just wasn't very flavorful. But they still wanted a premium price, which given the chichi address, wasn't much of a surprise either. The real icing on the cake came with the check. I usually like this restaurant quite a bit but this was an unfortunate visit with sub-par service and food. Disappointing.

Fine overall - but had to wait a really long time to see a waiter. No one brought water, until I had to ask.
