What a disappointment! I used to enjoy Ted's but last night I took a friend, who had never been there, for a birthday dinner. We went early (4:30) specifically to avoid the crowd and because we met 1/2 to split her long drive. Service was hardly prompt. But the fried pickles were very good as our starter! The taco special was short ribs with black beans and rice. My friend and I both ordered these. When they arrived, the 3 tacos were barely filled with meat and grilled onions. No cheese. Update #2: I called two different days & spoke to two different managers. They took my information and said they would look into the mistake and call me back. I haven't heard back for 2 weeks... Update: When I was checking my credit card statement, Ted's Bulletin did NOT put in my tip, INSTEAD, gave themselves a DIFFERENT tip (obviously a higher $). It's a great place to get brunch with family/friends. The food is great. I really like their hash browns. The hostess was not very friendly/kind, but our server was very nice!... read more
