I ended up here twice in one week. Once on a Saturday for brunch and again on a Wednesday for dinner. I like that they have decent gluten free bread, which opens up a lot of menu options that I usually can't eat. The only thing is... the service here is awful. Both times (once at a high top in the bar and another in a booth) our servers were absent, only coming for the order and food drop off. After 15 minutes of waiting to be greeted, I left. The restaurant was not busy and there were plenty of employees standing around. This was not the same as the many times I visited Ted's before the pandemic.

I'm very annoyed as I write this review. I placed a curbside order for the teds in Reston because I've been having knee problems and have trouble walking and due to my health status, I can't be around large crowds and risk covid. I put my order in and my order was supposed to be ready at 10:23am per the automated email I received. I get to the restaurant and park directly across from it at 10:35 am and call the restaurant to have my order brought out to me. Waited 25minutes for a beer, didnt even order any other food or anything, took the entire staff to figure out how to get one damn beer. I am now on a journey to find Mr. Ted so i can give him a piece of my mind

Update of Ted's Bulletin review: Be aware that the "please contact us" response the restaurant posts after each negative review is only to trick you into thinking the restaurant management cares about and acts on customer complaints. Our party of 8 arrived at Ted's Bulletin (TB) at 10:10 am last Sunday. After checking in, I was told we would be seated about 10:40. The Ted's Bulletin in Reston is just ok. It seems like it should be a chic place but it's dirty inside...I found a towelette laying outside the bathroom in the hallway. All of the floors are really sticky. It needs painting inside. The inside tables look old and worn out...and sticky. The pastries and cookies in their display at the front looked old and stale. Got a large takeout order with coworkers for dinner. Waited for 45 minutes to get takeout after having some drinks and needing to seek out the bartender. When I sat down to eat back at the office, the food was rancid (visibly green and smelled). I actually ate the meat first and immediately knew it was off. Everyone got the same order (5 in total); their meat was well overcooked. Walked back and asked for a refund. What a disappointment! I used to enjoy Ted's but last night I took a friend, who had never been there, for a birthday dinner. We went early (4:30) specifically to avoid the crowd and because we met 1/2 to split her long drive. Service was hardly prompt. But the fried pickles were very good as our starter! The taco special was short ribs with black beans and rice. My friend and I both ordered these. When they arrived, the 3 tacos were barely filled with meat and grilled onions. No cheese.
