We normally don't come here but I needed to get some shots for my dog asap. The receptionist who initially told us to come in at 8am had a bit of an attitude and gave us the wrong time to come. The guy who opened the doors in the morning(owner I assume) was a jerk and grunted at us the shot clinic wasn't until 10am. This guy was the most unfriendly ass. I had called to ask for an estimated total for my dogs procedure and the guy who answered said to call back after 3pm because they hadn't filed paperwork yet. I explained that that was the time I was suppose to pick my dog up and I wanted to be prepared .....(thinking that maybe someone could quickly figure it out for me) and I still got the same answer "the paper work hasn't been filed yet" Thanks for NOTHING!
Receptionist was a little rude, but rest of staff was great.
I have taken my pets here for years. My parents have taken our pets here for as long as I can remember and the last two times I was there was a horrible experience and I will NEVER go back again. My family took one of our dogs, a Lab who is a year old to the vet when we noticed a soft lump on his throat. The minute the vet walked into our little room she said "I know exactly what this is!" I had the worst experience at this vet. I was recommended by a friend so I took both of my cats to get spayed. It was 40 mile round trip and I waited three months for the appointment. My cats had surgery and I had them home for four days when I noticed two stitches had come out. I called the vet immediately. They would not see the cat until 5pm in the evening was their next available appointment. What happened to emergency care!! The instructions state to call the vet immediately if stitches come out. I didn't have the stellar experience here like some of the previous yelpers and it's just unfortunate. First impressions really do have a lasting effect, and while I'm willing to admit that maybe they might be an awesome vet to some people, they just aren't for me. I had scheduled an appointment for what felt like eons ago, to have my puppy spayed. Seriously, I called like in late August and the soonest I could get was mid October.
