Two years ago I would've given this business five stars. The vets are fantastic the vet techs are great but the office management has become so poor that you can have a 2 o'clock appointment and not get to see the vet for an entire hour. What if you had to make an anxious child wait at pediatricians office for an hour. Kind of the same thing. We all know there are good and bad vets out there and after 7 years I'm finally admitting this is a bad one. I started going here 7 years ago when I adopted my dog from a shelter and this is where they sent her to be spayed. We had no issues with them and started taking her to their shot clinics. Luckily she's been a healthy dog and I've never had to bring her here for anything else. So all was fine until I adopted another dog this summer who's got health problems: Ehrlichia and dry eye. I'm writing this review as I sit in the EMERGENCY room for my poor kitty, Loki. I brought him in today for a normal procedure, to get neutered. I brought him home and he started bleeding out...everywhere! I called the emergency hospital number from the answering machine and the vet indicated that Male cats who get neutered should not be bleeding like this. While I continue to take my dogs here (and have for the better part of 15 years), TCAMC really isn't the same since Dr. Henderson slowly began to transition out. Since then, I have had appointments cancelled, prescriptions refused because I was told my dog needed an appointment when he had just had a check-up, and some general unprofessionalism. This is usually are go to place for our dogs but its gotten a little pricey so we have tried a few other places but we do go here to get our dogs their shots. Today I popped in to put my name on the list first thing and had my son bring the dog at 9. granted their were 10 dogs ahead of me when i signed in. at one point he happened to walk away for 5 minutes and when he walked back he went in to check if they called his name. I have been taking my dogs to this clinic for 18 years. They were caring and charged a reasonable amount at the beginning but I starting to realized the prices were gradually going up to extreme amounts for every little visit. Lately I get the feeling from how they perform Their job that it is like to just make more money, it's not so much about caring and fixing the problems our pets are suffering from. I will Not take my dogs there any more.
I'm honestly so saddened by the experience I had coming here my dog would not stop throwing up and one of her eyes were really swollen and I went around 3:15 and they had already told me that they were not going to see her because they close at 4 not once did I see them asking the vet if they would be able to help us out or refer us somewhere else I thought since they work at a animal vet they love animals and try to help out but I guess not I work at a clinic and always make sure my patients are taken care of no matter if I... read more

To say this office has been a terrible experience would be an understatement. I brought my puppy Nala here for all of her shots. The very first time I brought her in, the front office staff was extremely rude. Like blatantly rude. They had no shame hiding their rudeness. Do NOT take your pet here! You truly get what you pay for. The staff all have bad attitudes. You can witness them bickering with one another like they're a disgruntled, dysfunctional family. It's completely unprofessional. As far as the care, I'm concerned. The estimate I got for a surgery on my dog was given with options for fluids and catheter, along with a few other things.
