Took my Jeep in for a recalled ignition switch. As a result of this recall my key did not fit into the new ignition. Tempe Jeep then told me that they would not cover the $260 price tag associated with getting a new key. This makes absolutely no sense. I would have never required a new key if I had not been given a faulty ignition switch in the first place. Came in to purchase a car at Horne Kia, and was told I was approved, even asked during the process if I was financed and okay, I was told he would not waste my time nor his if I wasn't. 2 days later was told GOOD NEWS I FOUND SOMEONE TO FINANCE YOU come in and sign the rest of the paperwork, so I did, only to show up and asked to hand the keys over. This dealership had the poorest and dishonest Sales Manager working this evening. My husband and myself did our homework about the vehicle we where looking for and was already to buy it fully funded via a auto loan from USAA ( this dealership is supposed to be a USAA certified Dealership) not only did he lie to our face and say that the Internet sales person and the floorsales both gave me us the same wrong price. I urge anyone with a Dodge, Jeep, or Chrysler to AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP! Nothing but a massive headache. What was originally supposed to be a 3 hour service turned into a 3 day endeavor, in which their techs have broken numerous parts on my vehicle and the rest of the employees have barely acknowledged me, let alone ask how they can make my miserable experience any better.
Bought a 2008 Dodge Charger here. Nice people, nice car until the ignition switch problem. On recall list, but no info on what to do about starting. Can't take any out of town trips when it may not start. No advise on maybe a new FOB or if the starting will just quit totally any day and still 2 months before dealer can get it in to fix or if they can even fix. Any options?? I bought a 2014 Dodge Charger SRT before moving to the area in April. A couple of weeks ago, the brakes developed a high-pitched squeal with only 6,500 miles on the car. I figured this should be covered under warranty, so I found Tempe Dodge a couple of weeks ago. They measured the brakes and said everything looks fine, but said, “Sometimes it just takes a little soap and water” and “this is a high performance car, you need to brake harder to generate friction to get the film off the rotors”.
