Arrived early for lunch we were seated immediately on the Patio, food arrived over 40 min later. Other large tables were served food who ORDERED after. Food arrived an item that I had ordered before and was delicious was HORRIBLE. I took one bite and put it down, returned the whole plate w no substitute. My guest who was celebrating something special ordered Duck burger which also was not good, way over cooked. I have never rated food this bad but honestly this was ridiculous. Wont return.

Better trained servers would enhance the experience of this unexpectedly swaggin joint. Dining area cramped. Servers continually bumped chairs walking by. Rushed dining experience even though restaurant was not busy. Lack of knowledge of menu items. Interesting potential.

This was my third visit to Terra Terroir and the most disappointing. Our reservation was for 8 pm on a Tuesday night and the restaurant was not overly full. The combination of NC-17 behavior at the adjacent table (with other tables available), slow service and sports bar vocabulary by our server was marginally unpleasant. The food gets an A but the service gets a C minus. Food temperature, presentation, and quality was excellent. However the service was less than stellar. Five minutes for water? Josh red wine was pleasant and mussels were outstanding. Enclosed heated garden patio lovely. End of good news. Strip steak was promised tender, especially if we ordered prime at $5 extra ($35). It was chewy , no way prime, and slightly overcooked. Sea bass was cut about 5/8 in.thick - unheard of - and tasted watery and flavorless. My guess is the chef had to thaw out a piece. I went with my mom and sister for a mother/daughter date night and we were so excited to try this place.We had a reservation for 7 pm and had requested patio seating (they did note for parties less than 5, you couldn't reserve a spot on the patio). We decided to wait at the bar. After 20 minutes of no bartender, we asked if we could get a glass of wine to one of the servers running around. We have been to Terra Terroir in the past and have throughly enjoyed the ambiance of the beautiful patio area, the excellent service and the quality of the salads and entrees. Accordingly, we decided to invite the whole family there for a birthday celebration. The garden area was beautiful as always, but everything else was disappointingly sub par. The experience would have been better if the management was able to acknowledge when an ordered dish was improperly prepared. Maybe they really don't respect their clients.

The older gentleman at the front desk wouldn't let us sit where we wanted and we had reservations and requested that table. He had an attitude. The waiter was rude and disinterested. The food was ok. Not interested in going back any time soon. So disappointed!
