The Mother’s Day brunch was very disappointing. The buffet food was cold and nothing special other than the fresh salmon. The bloody Mary’s and mimosas were not mixed well. The service was poor. I will not be going back
This restaurant is ordinarily a gem. However, it Mother's Day Brunch was a heavy miss. Poor service. Poor, cold food.
Requested seat in main Terroir. Ended up getting sat in a side section with partial view of main Terroir. Took 15 minutes for a server to say anything to us. Asked for an extra spoon and salt & pepper but they never came. Server was nice. Strange vibe. They seemed understaffed.
Never dine at Terra Terroir on Valentine’s Day. Everything that is wonderful about this restaurant - food preparation, wine list, caring service - was sacrificed for an absolute Valentine’s Day $$$ grab. Very disappointed in the ownership for allowing their fine reputation as a local gem to be sullied by their performance on Feb 14.
We made a reservation but when we got there, we were told there was a wait. The host said he would come get us when a table opened up. After 20 minutes, I went back to the front and they said if we wanted to be seated we could, but he had never come to get us. They were also seating people ahead of us who had reservations after us. We waited a super long time to get our food, and when it came out, most of it was cold. I have lived in the neighborhood a long time, but I won’t be coming back here. It was not worth the time or ... read more
We’ve been to Terra Terroir multiple times, New Years Eve was by far the worst experience. The wine I ordered was no where near the wine I got. The apps were ok but nothing special. After we ordered the entrees, it took a long time until the food came out. The fish was totally over cooked with the veggies being under cooked. The veggies were under cooked for my fiancé as well. Overall, we left feeling like we experienced a sub par meal with sub par service. If we go back, we’ll stick to apps but not the charcuterie plate.
One of the restaurant managers named Mohammad (sp?) was very undeservingly rude to me on the phone when I called to find out the ingredients in the deviled eggs on Monday, July 2nd that unfortunately made me violently ill the following 2 days afterwards. I then spoke to another more customer service friendly manager that let me know that that evening a "Black Olive Tepanade" recipe was used. I thanked him and did some online research that shows that sometimes the mushrooms used in some recipes can cause some people to become... read more
The salad was bland, the server hardly passed by, the soda had no gas, and it took an hour.
I have been to Terra Terroir several times for dinner and had good experiences. But their attempt at a Mother’s Day brunch seemed an amateurish attempt to cash in on a popular day for brunches. Brunch is obviously something they don’t typically do. Im not sure where the food I ate even came from. It had the feeling of some corporate event with a bad caterer. And please... get someone to re-do the worn out webbing in the booth seats.
