We had high hopes, but the waiter and food disappointed. My beet salad was very good, but hubby's sea bass was too salty (we should have sent it back) and my lamb cassoulet was so so. Quite pricy, too. The waiter was incredibly overbearing.
The lobster ravioli was not edible; we have had it in the past and it was lovely; this time we had to send it back. The risotto was not prepared well, it was mushy and now lacks vegetables that are recognizable. Last dinner there the risotto was good but the shrimp in the shrimp and grits was way overcooked. This has always been a favorite place for us to go and it was so disappointing.
This was my first time there. There were 4 of us and we had a reservation. First, we had to wait for our table because they had 6 tables that hadn't been cleaned yet. Then, we waited over an hour to get our food. When we got it, all the dishes were lukewarm. The portion of the dishes for the cost was just sad. For a small place in a shopping plaza asking over $20/plate, there should be more than 3 small scallops or one pork chop on a plate. We asked for a manager. food was good but the service was terrible. waited at the table for 20 minutes before a server even approached us. the water smelled like chlorine...we will most likely not return.
We reserved a table a week in advance and requested a table on the patio. When we arrived, they quoted a 45 minute wait to sit outside. They have a great patio, which is the only reason we chose the restaurant for the occasion, so I was upset they couldn't accommodate us.
We didn't eat at the restaurant. I thought we had reservations for outside and I was told that for groups under five, we were seated first come first serve. Instead of giving us a wait time, we were told categorically we had to eat inside. Apparently, I didn't read the website correctly. We left and ate at the Pour in Brookhaven.
We use to go to terra terroir for the good food and convenience. Our food was over priced for the quality and presentation, never mind the portion size. We won't be back
Have been to Terra Terroir a few times over the years and has been good. This time cold sides, poor service, and a burn entree ruined it...
We arrived for our reservation to find that the restaurant was closed. Will never try it. How dare they accept a reservation for dinner and not be open.
