We’ve been to Terra Terroir multiple times, New Years Eve was by far the worst experience. The wine I ordered was no where near the wine I got. The apps were ok but nothing special. After we ordered the entrees, it took a long time until the food came out. The fish was totally over cooked with the veggies being under cooked. The veggies were under cooked for my fiancé as well. Overall, we left feeling like we experienced a sub par meal with sub par service. If we go back, we’ll stick to apps but not the charcuterie plate.
One of the restaurant managers named Mohammad (sp?) was very undeservingly rude to me on the phone when I called to find out the ingredients in the deviled eggs on Monday, July 2nd that unfortunately made me violently ill the following 2 days afterwards. I then spoke to another more customer service friendly manager that let me know that that evening a "Black Olive Tepanade" recipe was used. The salad was bland, the server hardly passed by, the soda had no gas, and it took an hour.
I have been to Terra Terroir several times for dinner and had good experiences. But their attempt at a Mother’s Day brunch seemed an amateurish attempt to cash in on a popular day for brunches. Brunch is obviously something they don’t typically do. Im not sure where the food I ate even came from. It had the feeling of some corporate event with a bad caterer. And please... get someone to re-do the worn out webbing in the booth seats.
Drinks were so strong it was impossible to drink. Steaks were cooked incorrectly and vegetables were raw. A really bad night in the kitchen!!!
I will never return after the bison burger was raw and undercooked
Service was very poor. Expected an outside seat using Open Table per our request on the Open Table website but they intended to put us elsewhere inside anyway. When we specifically asked to be "outside" (a covered garden-like area, the only area with a pleasant ambience) was put at a table that abnormally long (twice the length of others) so was far away from my date. We had a reservation but they had no table for us. We waited at the bar. We sat there for 20 minutes before the bartender bothered to ask for our drink orders. When we finally got a table, our waiter was extremely slow. The best thing about the evening was the bottle of Bordeaux we had. Hardly a ringing endorsement.
This is first time we have had a bad experience here. We had a reservation for only 3 people, arrived on time and were told a 10 minute wait which was acceptable. Unfortunately we watched as others who came in after us were seated and after about 30 Minutes we went to the bar and kept being told "just 10 more minutes. We finally ended up eating at the small high top in the bar after waiting an hour
