Waited a long while for drinks when arrived then throughout the night struggled to get drinks, at the end I asked if we could pay separately as we were a large group getting different drink, to this I got a cheeky response and one women was very rude and upset me the way she spoke to me.

Special occasion ruined due to the kitchen being closed and no contact to confirm this. Supposed to have received an email but nothing… spent an hour trying to find a table elsewhere and ended up at home with a takeout. So disappointed.

There was no ambience and the venue was not clean and had an unpleasant smell. Despite there being very few customers there appeared to be an issue seating us. The seat we eventually got was dirty and the smell off putting so decided to leave without having a drink. We would not recommend nor be returning.

We booked here for food and drinks as heard great reviews. We received a phone call on the day to advise they had to close the kitchen due to track and trace but we could still attend for drinks. We were fine with this as we would prefer safety first and we would arrange food elsewhere. However we attended at our time slot. There was no music, no atmosphere, service was TERRIBLE. We sat for 10/15 minutes before our drink order being taken. They had no slush no draft beer, no food. It was an absolute joke. Would not recommend... read more

We were greeted with friendly staff, however, due to staff shortage we were given a reduced menu. One of the party has a dairy intolerance and on the full menu, we could of eaten with no problems however, the reduced menu was all cheese based which left nachos and chips the only option. I would of appreciated a message or email to say this was the case prior to arrival so we could of cancelled.

On our third and final night in Edinburgh ws booked a table here (we tried to go the first night but was full so we specially booked to go for our final night) we were sat at a table that was sticky and a bit riquety. It took ages for the waitress to come and take any order from us, we ordered wings (requested no sauce) boozy dog, macaroni bites, and two portions of fries, as well as a cocktail each. For being a restaurant and bar I was expecting to be sat in a proper seat but instead I was sat on a bar stool to eat my meal. It’s just very impersonal and I have back problems so it made me back hurt. Our server didn’t put through our drink orders, so we sat for half an hour waiting for drinks that never came. Overall the experience was poor and for a main meal and one round of drinks we were £60. Overpriced and poor quality service and utilities. The only enjoyable part was our starter.

Cant unfortunately comment on the food as we left before ordering. Went to the toilets on arrival and the corridor plus the actual female bathroom stunk like a urinal. To top things off there was also flies in the bathroom as well. Returned to the table we had been sat at to find it was sticky from the previous diners. There were other free tables so i couldnt understand why we had been sat at one that wasnt clean.
