Horrible. Will never go back.
Steaks were some what tender but dry and had no real flavor also food came out really fast like it wasn’t freshly cooked. Food was room temperature like it was just sitting out.
The food was good, but when the service is so bad it’s hard to overlook. On top of that a 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill, won’t be back
Food was bad. New York Steak was tough and lots of connective tissue! Yuck!
We went to the Butchers Cut for restaurant week. I felt like I walked into an Applebee’s. The whole experience was unpolished, although the staff were extremely nice. For this price point, I expected a lot more in terms of knowledge, ambiance and food/drink taste and presentation. We went to Butcher's Cut Steakhouse for restaurant week this year. Overall, we had a good time and enjoyed the meal. However, for the high price on food at this restaurant, the cook and presentation of the food was lacking. The octopus as an appetizer was chewy due to being slightly overcooked, although a very large portion and still delicious. Furthermore, neither my girlfriend or I's filet's were cooked that great. Not inpressed and won't go back.
Expensive for the meal. Much higher expectations for the price. Both steaks ordered same temperature (medium) one came rare and the other medium well. Rare steak was barely eaten. Both steaks under seasoned, never have I needed to add salt when out to dinner. Also the salt and pepper beer battered fries had no salt or pepper and just felt like they were over fried. Drinks were tasty but glad we didn’t order apps or more sides! Such a disappointment. Was our one special date night out on our trip visiting.
We made reservations weeks in advance. We were made to sit outside and it was a cold night. We waited for out table to be cleaned and set. We waited for our drinks to arrive. We ordered off of the Christmas special menu figuring that it would be fastest. We waited for TWO hours for our entrees. They were cold. We finally asked for our preordered desserts to be boxed up to go because we were freezing. I realize they were busy, but this was beyond unacceptable.
