Love the atmosphere, service was poor and the food was undesirable. Unfortunate because we were looking forward to it. Clean and on time with the reservation, those were the positives.
The food at the château was excellent. Every meal we had was great. However, the experience was horrible because our waitress/server was extremely rude from the minute she approached us and with every interaction until the moment we left. This was the first time I have left a tip that was less than 20% in probably 20 years. She did not want to be there doing that job; and she made sure everyone knew that. My 83 year old mother actually said “I’m afraid to ask her for lemon” which she wanted for her meal. Horrible service- so... read more
Food is average at best. Chicken was undercooked which was remedied by the server who very good and attentive. Probably will not go back.

The food was delicious and the server was excellent. The only problem was the seating in the bar area. It was crowded and noisy. I assumed the seating would be in the dining room or they would seat us there when I objected, but no one offered that option. My companions were fine with the bar area, so I didn't press the issue. I regretted it because I'm careful about distancing and there were too many people in the room. I don't think I'll go back.

I've been to the Chateau many times. It has been a wonderful place. Not sure what happened last night. Food was served very quickly but was cold. Our drinks, well those never came until we reminded the waitress. Who brought the someone else's drinks to us first. After we were done eating, we were finally served the drinks we originally ordered. The waitress blamed the bar being slow. So my pre dinner drink became my after dinner drink. Have been to many of their locations. Celebrated our 43rd anniversary to a disappointing meal. The service was good but the meals were not. Chicken parmigiana was changed from the past. Used to get a half breast which was not preformed and was very juicy! Now it’s a formed chicken Patty ( at least that’s what it looked like) that was very thin and very tough. Waitress seemed inexperienced, food was just okay not like it was pre-pandemic, very disappointing.
The food was worse than expected. I had the chicken piccata and it was tough to chew, like very fatty chicken. The penne on the side was average at best, tasted like a bottle jar sauce from the store. At an Italian restaurant, you expect higher standards. The drink was just okay. I liked the bread at the table. Our server was a nice kid, new to waiter, but nice and handled all our needs. Would not return due to the food.
