About The Chef My name is Paul Friedman and I like to think of myself as just an ordinary guy who has had a lifetime love affair with food and the fortune of having owned and operated 58 restaurants in South Africa, Europe and the United States. Everything was excellent and the peppercorn steak may have been the best I’ve ever had. A true dining experience- Chef Paul and staff were outstanding.
What an incredible experience! This place is a jewel & its atmosphere was amazing. We select the package of Culinary Journey with wine pairing 🏽 I would love to describe this package but all I can't say is WOW, WOW, WOW!!! It's an 8 course meal (small portions) but my goodness!!. This place is AMAZING! If you’re open to trying new things & enjoy the experience of a culinary journey, you will LOVE this place. Came here for our 24th anniversary dinner...just the 2 of us. Hubby ordered Durban Chicken and ate every bite. I ordered the matzo ball cup of soup. Excellent yet just a tad too salty. Sorry, my Mom's matzo balls and soup still is the best! Additionally ordered the appetizer Riblet's. Very tender, fall off the bone and perfect combo of seasoning! We ordered a ton of appetizers- the best thing was the octopus 🐙 & the infused water they serve. Everything else was fairly ordinary
I thoroughly enjoyed the smoked cinnamon old fashioned and the sticky toffee pudding.
