Great food, a wide variety at pricing ranging from $20 to $100. As first time customers, we went for their advertised 5- 7 pm Happy Hour to try it out. Unfortunately the FOOD happy hour ENDS at 6 pm ( we were informed by our waitress at 6:05 pm). The liquor HH continues until 7 pm. Too Weird for me. 😱. The wine list is heavily South African with few choices of bottles less than $50. I've had some great South African wines but I wasn't impressed with those served. Chef Paul is doing great work putting explosively flavored dishes in front of his guests. Service and ambience are excellent as well.
Let me share my dining and culinary experience at The Chef's Table of Houston. The restaurant has a dark theme setting. I can say I was so excited to go on this journey to try South African dishes here in Houston. My pictures will reflect my journey!
