About The Chef My name is Paul Friedman and I like to think of myself as just an ordinary guy who has had a lifetime love affair with food and the fortune of having owned and operated 58 restaurants in South Africa, Europe and the United States. Awesome food, everything was great. Personally greeted by the chef. We had sea bass, ribeye, peppercorn filet and hanging skewer steak? Peeperdew and roast octopus for appetizer and sticky cake and crème brûlée for dessert. Everything delicious! Cannot say enough about everything!!

This place is truly one of a kind, with a South African-influenced menu that offers a multitude of unique flavors! The atmosphere was great as well. To be fresh out of training, Mo provided an amazing experience. I couldn't make up my mind on what to eat, but Mo asked all the right questions and suggested the Bobotie for my appetizer, paired with a glass of Anura Chardonnay. The good reviews are well deserved. Food is unreal and unique. Absolutely recommend this restaurant for events or dates. Chef came out to cut my wife’s birthday cake and was friendly and approachable. Service was fantastic.

Not sure if the first review went through, if it did, two reviews still don’t give this restaurant full credit. This restaurant is a must. Food is delicious. My wife and I were lucky enough to have a kid free date night, and we knew exactly this was restaurant we wanted to eat at. The appetizers made unbelievable. There was nothing left on either plate.
