About this business

About The Chef My name is Paul Friedman and I like to think of myself as just an ordinary guy who has had a lifetime love affair with food and the fortune of having owned and operated 58 restaurants in South Africa, Europe and the United States. I grew up in what was known as the Transvaal province of South Africa, they called it the land of the Xhosas, one of the major ethnic tribes in this part of Africa. Together with fellow N'guni peoples, the Zulu. They make up the majority of the South African population. There are ano... read more

First the ambiance was really nice and the food was delicious. Plus, our server Shayla was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant and overall a great asset to the company. My family and I will be back!

HANDS DOWN THE BEST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD!!! The food AND the service was equally phenomenal!!! Chef Paul sat at our table, talked with us, and answered questions about the menu. Tracey was our server and she was very knowledgeable and was so on point with the recommendations. Seriously, you cannot go wrong with anything that you order here. This is my new favorite restaurant!!

They are definitely going for a particularly style in the place, I can respect that. However, I don’t think their food is good enough to propel them towards the style they are trying to achieve. The place oozes pretentiousness, and that would be all right if the food oozed the same amount of flavor, but it does not. This place was very delightful! It was too good. We had The Diane Sisters and The Chicken Florentine and also the Charred Octopus. The Diane sisters steak was cooked at a perfect medium rare and the Diane sauce not only creamy but very savory, the brioche buns were toasted very well with a crisp edge and were flavored perfectly. The Chicken had a very perfect crunch and had a delicious seafood style sauce on top that went very well with the veggies it had. The charred octopus was so good!! The octopus was cooked very well an... read more
