Outdated. Once we got there didn’t really have to many options to book somewhere else, it was clean- but no microwave , fridge, or WiFi. Normally I don’t go off other peoples reviews on the hotels- but in this case all the review are 100% accurate. The room was very very very outdated, old fashioned- bathroom too. Could only control the fan room- so it was pretty warm with out ac….the security was nice- but the man who got us our room was a bit rude. Tooooooooo high priced for what the place has to offer. Friendly staff, clean and close to attractions. Our original room was smaller than expected when we booked. And then the heat/AC unit was rattling, but we were upgraded to a larger room and so that really made our stay much better. I wouldn't book the smaller room again, I would pay more for the larger room. We originally had room with a defective/loud heat/AC unit. I spoke with the front desk and we were immediately moved up to a new room. The hotel was very accommodating. We liked how close to attractions that it was.

History and Location Room was a bit tired looking - small TV- mattress was firm but not luxurious and pillows thin- my name is Deb- ( spelled backwards it is Bed) so comfort and sleep are important!!! The history, the reported hauntings, the location, and the beautiful lobby- the architecture!!!! In the room- bathroom was spacious and window views gave us amazing views of my favorite city!

Pleasant Thin walls (constant noise from within the building), housekeeping only came half of my stay. Don't eat breakfast here. Great location for the Chicago marathon
