Overall, the stay was okay and I would stay there again. We stayed two nights. I was disappointed to know that they don’t clean your room until after the second night. I didn’t like that our room was not tidied up and we weren’t given fresh towels and wash clothes our first night. However, they did quickly provide them after I called and requested it. Exceptional The maintenance work/ room repairs were not done to historic standards and appear to have been completed by an ammature, which takes away from the ambiance of the room. Management should hire someone that knows what they are doing. Great atmosphere, beautiful historic building, friendly staff, clean spacious room. We were there for one night for a Bears game. Good No hot water. No microwave. No valet - had to walk a ways to find parking. Everywhere in the hotel we could smell marijuana. I liked the history of the hotel. Very nostalgic
