Great hotel in the heart of the city near Grant Park, McCormick Place, United Center, shopping, etc. I enjoyed my stay at Congress Plaza. We came for a convention. The rooms were clean, neat, and we had plenty of hot water. I liked the daily complimentary bottles of water. The location is right across the street from Grant Park. The location is accessible by bus and train lines. We purchased a 3 day transportation pass for $15 total. The train from O'Hare airport took us a few blocks from the hotel. Exceptional
Conveniently located, with just enough umph for a short stay. The rooms were very old and showed. All night our AC chirped audibly. It was hard to cool the room on the top floor on a hot two days. The beds were t overly comfortable and the pillows need updating. The decor of the social areas was immaculate. The old feel is cool.
A perfect hotel stay! Connivence , clean , helpful staff , like having a restaurant on premise .
