A historic hotel left in ruin The hotel was built in 1893 and it has a lot of history. I was really excited to see some of the old architecture and take in one of the oldest buildings in Chicago. I was familiar with what to expect as we had a house in the family built in 1881. When we got there, the lobby was overly warm, but bright and welcoming. Very Poor Furniture was old with pain chipping, the decor was outdated, elevators and common areas smelled like marijuana. It took a long time to be able to order room service because they were not answering. The front desk staff was short with us. The walls were very thin and we could hear everything our neighbors were saying or doing in their room or in the hallway. The location was great
Não recomendo esse hotel antigo e não reformado. Deixaram de me entregar uma compra da Amazon; minha chave teve que ser trocada 5 vezes; a porta do quarto não abria facilmente por falta de manutenção ; quarto sem janelas; precisava de um taxi para o aeroporto mas eles só indicam os parceiros do hotel que não tem taximetro. Pedi taxi com taximetro e fui abandonado pelos responsaveis .Só uma moça gentil me atendeu bem. Da localização.
I will never stay at this hotel again. Our room had no heat, and they only offered us space heaters, There was no heat in the room and no one told us the heat was out. We spent all night with no heat and they brought us a space heater. When we went to the restaurant for breakfast we waited over an hour for our food. The only thing good is the location
