The Dunes House is conveniently located right at the beach entrance so grabbing something quick to eat or a drink is easy. We went after cleaning up from the beach for dinner. They offer music each afternoon which is awesome and our food was good. I only gave four stars because they only offer take out food carriers, paper products and plastic ware, which makes some things difficult to eat. Overall, their simple menu covers all the cravings and I would recommend this outdoor restaurant.

My friends and I stopped here for lunch on the beach. We had some drinks and light snacks. We enjoyed the view and laidback atmosphere. I enjoyed the tacos I ordered. The rest of the group enjoyed their food, too.
Here on vacation. Very very relaxing. Service was excellent. If your in this areas, this is a good choice. Not an expansive menu but what is offered is very tasty.. . It offers immediate access to the beach. Like 200 feet. Nice food nice vibe and excellent location
Nice location on the beach and was pretty busy around 6.The food and service are mediocre at best and it seems to be a great place for some cocktails.Had the much hyped fish tacos and found it to be total assembly line,cheap food with no taste or seasoning along with chips and taco shells(? There are not many choices aside from hotel restaurants on this area of HHI, but the Dunes is a solid choice for lunch, drinks or just to get out of the sun / off the beach! Their go-to is a fish sandwich, which is big enough for two people really. Their alcoholic drink menu is a lot of rum drinks - perfect to cool down with when it is hot. Service is best around the bar area.
We had lunch to break up day on the beach. Casual and beautiful location. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. We ordered burgers, chicken salad wrap and veggie black bean burgers. Comes with chips or fruit. Fruit was delicious!!! Definitely will be back!
Nice salad ,drinks and sandwiches right on the beach. Nothing fancy but good. Busy place and waitress unable to get back to table for a second round of drinks.
Tried place finally for dinner on the beach. Ordered blacken mahi sandwich and wife ordered blackened mahi salad. Fish was cooked great but sandwich had dry roll and was too much bread.could have used a touch more aioli. Ended up eating is fish by itself and ditched the roll. Service was friendly. Live music was a bit load but ok Problem with eating outside is flies lots of flies. Will tryout again sometime.
Convenient spot on the beach. Food is average, but I did have a great fish sandwich. Can't beat the view.
